I developed CASE-UK after many years working with children and young people in crisis, specifically researching, developing and managing radical education programmes for charities such as Save the Children Fund and Local Authorities. I have also lectured in prison, managed multicultural and Family Centre's, and provided specialist team management to Children's Services.

For the last 8 years I have been working freelance as an Educational Specialist delivering bespoke programmes of work to children and young people in the South and East of England, as a professional  artist I also use art as a therapeutic tool in much of my work.

I became frustrated by the limitations of organisations who though excellent in the service provided, are not able to respond to the needs of young people beyond traditional school hours, timescales and activities. I want to be able to bridge the gap by creating robust support that takes into account the whole picture (whatever that is), and introduce new possibilities that challenge the isolation these young people often experience and provide authentic, nurturing relationships with specific experiences that reflect their social, emotionally and educational needs, the difference is that we will also workbeyond the 9-5 .

In general terms, I deliver 1-1 bespoke timetables for young people with complex needs, who require education other than school (EOTS).

or 2:1 Support (upon request) with a Peer Mentor with Lived in Experience.

I work with Local Education Authorities - SEND commissioning Department, for young people with an EHCP, and directly with parent/carers and other organisations.

I have significant experience working with 'hard to reach' young people from across the UK.

I can support a young person in the home, community, hospital or LAC

Together we will create a personalised timetable that reflects their social, emotional and educational needs.

Support is unique in that it can be arranged at a time of day, evening or weekend, that best suits the young person's needs.

There is no specific formula to successful engagement with young people, quite simply because there is no young person exactly the same as another.

I have had the privilege of being accepted into the lives of hundreds of neurodivergent children and young people over the last 30 years
